Our dried basil is nothing more than pure, extra-fancy grade, whole organic Egyptian basil leaves (Ocimum basilicum). And that's a good thing. No GMOs. No ETO (considered carcinogenic by the EPA). Not irradiated. Certified Organic by QAI. Kosher Certified by KSA. Pungent, aromatic, woodsy and herbaceous. Sweet, with slightly minty notes. This is real basil.
We get real about flavor potency. Why insult your taste buds with dull, nearly tasteless basil? We harvest ours from the plant just before flowering, when its volatile oils are at their peak. Then we fast-dry the leaves at low temperatures to preserve the oils. The result? Delicious, potently flavored dried basil. Yes, it is possible.
For the freshest flavor bite, add basil near the end of cooking time. For tomato sauces, add one teaspoon per cup.
Don’t stop at the classic tomato sauces and Italian dishes. Let it WOW your homemade herb butters, meat rubs, marinades, savory snack mixes and herb-roasted veggies. Great in vegan bean and grain dishes. Plays especially well with lemon, garlic, and thyme. Makes great pesto when fresh isn’t around, too.

Refund policy If you need to return a product, we want to make the process simple and easy for you in the instance that item is damaged or incorrectly supplied. Please call our team within 48 hours of receipt of goods, or email within 48 hours of receipt of goods and attach an image of the product with your email. We will issue a return reference number to be included with the returned goods. Any claims outside this time-frame will not be accepted. Credits will be processed when goods are received back to our distribution centre. Goods sent back without prior advice being given to us will not be accepted. Health Nuts Australia are unable to issue returns or credits for perishable and fresh produce items, as well as unwanted or incorrectly ordered items. Returns cannot be redeemed for cash and Health Nuts Australia will issue an on-line credit only.
