we source our maca from the Junin region in the Central Andres of Peru where it only grows at souring altitudes of up to 4,500 meters. Frost and disease resistant, maca is a tuber that thrives in harsh environmental conditions. Our organic black maca is hand harvested and sun dried at altitude to ensure potency and freshness are uncompromised. Gently heated in the traditional way for easier digestion and better absorption the maca roots are then ground into a fine powder. 

Our black maca contains antioxidants, beneficial phytonutrients, amino acids and is a known adaptogen.
