Mackerel fillets without skin and bones from sustainable and controlled fishery stocks. Caught by the North Spanish Atlantic traditional inshore fishery using the fish-hook and hand-line method directly upon the shoal and without nets, avoiding the capture of non commercial or protected species during the migration of Mackerel towards the North European waters.
This “one to one” fishing method also assures a high quality of fish and help to preserve natural stocks and development of immature individuals as a way to support future generations. The fish is cleaned by hand and canned with extra virgin olive oil from certified Spanish organic agriculture.

A family owned business dedicated to the manufacture of canned seafood for over 100 years.
Using traditional and selective fishing methods they avoid by-catch, depredation and help to preserve the natural fish stocks and related stocks.
No use of nets is a guarantee for this product along with freshness and quality of fish.
Our factory is situated in Vilanova de Arosa, a coastal village on the Atlantic coast of Galicia, in the northwest of the Iberian Peninsula, an area blessed with an abundance of fish and shellfish, enabling the product to be supplied absolutely fresh and in optimum condition.The name under wich we market our products, “Pan Do Mar”, accurately reflects the history and working philosophy of our company, which is manufacture based on the rational and sustainable harvesting of the marine resources.
The products we offer under the “Pan Do Mar” brand name are therefore based on the following basic principles:
- The fishing is done with inshore craft (coastal fishing) typical of the local communities and their deep-rooted family traditions of fishing and seamanship, using customary non-depredatory fishing tackle.
- The volume of the catches, ther sizes and the tackle used are regulated and inspected by the relevant official bodies.
- The entire fishing and production chain is fully traceable and certified.
- The same standards are applied to the selection of the accompanying ingredients: extra virgin olive oils, vegetables, spices, vinegar and wines for the sauces, all drawn from Spanish organic agriculture.

Customers that do not select the "Authority to leave parcels without signature" are responsible for receiving their package. If the package is returned to Health Nuts by the courier, Health Nuts will refund the cost of the product only. All shipping and handling will not be refunded. Health Nuts will recharge for any shipping and handling to resend the product.
If you need to return a product, we want to make the process simple and easy for you in the instance that item is damaged or incorrectly supplied. Please call our team within 48 hours of receipt of goods, or email within 48 hours of receipt of goods and attach an image of the product with your email. We will issue a return reference number to be included with the returned goods. Any claims outside this time-frame will not be accepted.
Credits will be processed when goods are received back to our distribution centre. Goods sent back without prior advice being given to us will not be accepted. Health Nuts Australia are unable to issue returns or credits for perishable and fresh produce items, as well as unwanted or incorrectly ordered items.
Returns cannot be redeemed for cash and Health Nuts Australia will issue an on-line credit only.
