Organic Polenta is simply made from coarsely milled yellow corn. It a wonderful creamy base for serving slow-cooked meats and is an ideal replacement for mashed potatoes. Suprisingly, polenta can also be used for creating wheat-free cakes and desserts too.

How To Use
How to cook polenta
The basic ratio for cooking polenta is 4 parts liquid to 1 part polenta. You can use any number of liquids to make polenta such as plain water, milk or stock.
1. Bring liquid to a boil in a saucepan on high. Add 1 tsp salt.
2. Pour polenta slowly into water, stirring. Continue stirring as mixture thickens, 2 to 3 minutes. Turn heat to low.
3. Cook for at least 45 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes or so.
4. If polenta becomes too thick, thin it by adding some water, stir well and continue cooking.
5. Finish with butter or cream to achieve a creamier texture.
6. Taste and season as desired. Serve with cheese of your choice, or fresh herbs or as a side for stew.

Refund policy If you need to return a product, we want to make the process simple and easy for you in the instance that item is damaged or incorrectly supplied. Please call our team within 48 hours of receipt of goods, or email within 48 hours of receipt of goods and attach an image of the product with your email. We will issue a return reference number to be included with the returned goods. Any claims outside this time-frame will not be accepted. Credits will be processed when goods are received back to our distribution centre. Goods sent back without prior advice being given to us will not be accepted. Health Nuts Australia are unable to issue returns or credits for perishable and fresh produce items, as well as unwanted or incorrectly ordered items. Returns cannot be redeemed for cash and Health Nuts Australia will issue an on-line credit only.
