Infuse Relax Enjoy
Unlike black tea, herbal teas utilise specific plant parts, such as flowers, roots, fruits, seeds, leaves and bark, chosen for their unique health benefits. Herbal teas are an economical, light and refreshing alternative to other drinks and are popular with health enthusiasts, naturopaths and herbalists. Enjoying traditional herbal infusions is an easy way to reconnect with the past and appreciate just how much nature has to offer.

The Hilde Hemmes’ product range includes a large variety of herbs commonly used in western herbal medicine. Plants are sourced from reputable growers in their country of origin and carefully dried to retain their natural properties. Herbs are rigorously tested to confirm that only the correct species are used. They are routinely tested for pesticides, heavy metals, aflatoxins, foreign matter and microbial levels. With our stringent quality assurance program, we are committed to supplying premium grade products.
Our herbs are hygienically packed in biodegradable cellophane bags, to lock in their individual flavours and aromas. Boxes are purchased from sustainable sources and can be recycled or composted – remove plastic window before disposal.
Australian owned and operated business. Products are manufactured and tested by Herbal Supplies Pty Ltd in South Australia.
Herbal teas are best stored below 30°C, away from direct sunlight and in a dry environment.
Infuse 2-3 heaped teaspoons of Dandelion herb in a cup of boiling water, steep for 5 minutes. Strain and drink several cups daily.
If not using the tea straight away, you can store it in a covered jug or container in the fridge for up to 24 hours and gently warm the mixture before drinking.
Born from a background and knowledge in herbs, Hilde Hemmes is the creative and inspirational energy behind her family-owned company, Herbal Supplies Pty Ltd. As Australia’s leading therapeutic herbal tea manufacturer, Hilde and her family take pride in being independent, competitive, flexible and fully-integrated, and their commitment to herbalism is still as strong as it was when the company was founded in 1985. Over the years Hilde has collected many rare, out-of-print books on herbs and their uses, and has discovered many valuable recipes and ancient formulae that may otherwise have been forgotten. She made a significant contribution to the Australian herbal industry as a pioneer of Swedish Bitters (a multi-purpose tonic) and the herb Epilobium parviflorum (also known as ProstaLobium®) which has traditionally been used in western herbal medicine to maintain / support prostate health. Hilde Hemmes’ herbal products satisfy the demands of today’s consumers who are well-informed and expect paramount quality standards. In recent years, the popularity of herbal medicine has become one of the fastest growing sectors of the complementary healthcare market and today it is a booming industry!
