L-Carnitine Tartrate delivers the purest form of L-Carnitine. This highly stable form is known for its solubility which makes this one of the most preferred derivatives of naturally occurring L-Carnitine. It is made from a combination of L-Carnitine and L-Tartaric Acid.
Fatty acid metabolism requires carnitine. Fatty acids are converted to fatty acetylCoA, then combined with carnitine before they are carried into the cells' power plants, the mitochondria, to be oxidised.
L-Carnitine Tartrate is reported to have the same actions as the L-Carnitine manufactured naturally in the human body.

The name carnitine comes from the Latin "Carnus" meaning flesh and was originally isolated from meat. Meat is high in carnitine and the redder the meat, the higher the levels of carnitine.
HealthWise® Amino Powders are pure pharmaceutical grade powders and are packed by weight not volume, without the use of fillers or flowing agents. Some of the powders are slightly hygroscopic (retain moisture) and this can result in clumping. This can be broken apart with a spoon before taking or dissolved in water.

1 level teaspoon preferably split into 2 servings throughout the day.
Tip
Absorption is the key for good results with carnitine. Insulin is the most effective agent at helping more L-carnitine get inside muscle cells. So, by combining L-Carnitine with an insulin-elevating juice or carbohydrate snack, you can ensure maximum carnitine retention in muscle cells.
An effective serving of L-Carnitine Tartrate is 1000 to 2000mg daily, usually split up into two servings.

Refund policy If you need to return a product, we want to make the process simple and easy for you in the instance that item is damaged or incorrectly supplied. Please call our team within 48 hours of receipt of goods, or email within 48 hours of receipt of goods and attach an image of the product with your email. We will issue a return reference number to be included with the returned goods. Any claims outside this time-frame will not be accepted. Credits will be processed when goods are received back to our distribution centre. Goods sent back without prior advice being given to us will not be accepted. Health Nuts Australia are unable to issue returns or credits for perishable and fresh produce items, as well as unwanted or incorrectly ordered items. Returns cannot be redeemed for cash and Health Nuts Australia will issue an on-line credit only.
